Here we gooooo
~ my W H Y
I’m Jess, creator of the mummasmentalhealth.blog and mummasmentalhealth instagram account.
Before I started to blog about my mental health issues I thought/dreamt/imagined ideas about blogging for sometime💭. I reached a point of anger and frustration with my mental health illness after suffered with it since my eldest was 6 months old, she’s now 8.5.
▪︎my story reg my mental health issues is in my blog, please if you suffer even slightly have a read, you won’t feel as lonely, your not alone *I stress this, you are never alone*.
I am medicated for my illness but am ALWAYS on the look out for ANYTHING that might also help give me relief and comfort.
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying watching some gals who are working their own YL businesses, I look fwd to their new stories and posts when I have a moment to flick through instagram and this has inspired me, motivated me and opened my eyes to another way to help my mental illness!
I am a Mum of 3 kids, 2 grls 1 boy, 8.5 (g), 4 (b) and 2 (g). And fiance to Jon. I keep busy with parent life, home duties, hairdressing, nail artist, gardening, dance Mum, school Mum, yoga and the rest ☺
I’ve decided to work my own Young Living business to continue educate myself towards better mental health. I often find myself searching for stories on line late at night when I’m up over thinging life looking for people who go through what I do, as a sufferer I personally find so much comfort in other sufferers. So if by chance I can actually help relieve someone else, make them feel comfortable, smile and be happy along my journey than I definitely will, anxiety and depression is not a road you should travel alone!
I’m excited about what might come out of this journey, my dreams are big 💫✌

Why you shouldn’t feel guilty about taking a little time out for yourself ~
Taking time for yourself
▪︎gives your brain a chance to reboot
▪︎improves concentration
▪︎increases productivity
▪︎helps you discover or rediscover your own voice
▪︎gives you a chance to think deeply
▪︎helps your problem solve more effectively
I’m just over here resting, the dishwasher needs unstacking, laundry needs doing and my bed needs making plus need to unpack bags from the morning in town but ✌ who frigen cares. My family much prefer happy Mumma rather then 🤯🤬 Mumma any day.
